About Us

Independent planning advice with direct senior input.

Hadleybrooks Consultancy provides clear, commercially focused and evidence-led planning support for public and private sector clients across the UK.

Planning advice that is practical, proportionate and robust.

Hadleybrooks Consultancy was established to provide clients with clear advice on planning strategy, development potential, town centre policy, retail and leisure planning, appeals and specialist assessments.

The consultancy is led by Mark Alexander Balaj MRTPI, a chartered planning consultant with experience across planning strategy, development management, retail and town centre planning, local authority review work and commercially sensitive planning advice.

Hadleybrooks is based in Salford, Greater Manchester and advises across the UK. The consultancy works with developers, landowners, occupiers, local authorities, architects, planning consultancies, operators and wider professional teams.

The focus is on direct senior input, proportionate reporting and advice that clients can rely on when making commercial, procedural and planning decisions.

Clear enough to act on, robust enough to defend.
